Liberty Book Store

Liberty Book Store is located at Vidhani Circle in Indra Nagar. It’s not a huge place, but we have stacks of books everywhere you look. Some are on shelves and others are just piled up on the floor because we ran out of room. We’ve been at this No. 18-8-192/8/1 address for a good number of years. It’s a bit of a maze inside. People come in looking for school books or sometimes just something to read on the bus. It gets a little quiet in the afternoons, so that’s when I try to organize the sections, though it never stays neat for long. We get students mostly, always in a hurry. The circle outside is always noisy with traffic, but once you step inside, it smells like old paper and ink. I spend a lot of time dusting the covers. We don't have those fancy computer systems for every book, so I usually just remember where things are. Sometimes I can’t find a specific title right away and have to dig through the back. It’s just how we run things here. Indra Nagar is a nice area, even if it’s getting more crowded. We keep the doors open to let some air in. Customers usually know what they want, but sometimes they just browse for an hour. That’s fine by me. It’s just a regular local shop. The light in the back corner is always flickering, but I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet.
