We are over in Kukatpally, right in Hyderabad. Ammanna Chowdary is the one who keeps everything running at Indira Construction. It’s a busy area and there’s always something being built or fixed around here. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of trucks. We mostly stick to local jobs where we can see the progress every day. The office is simple. We spend more time out at sites than sitting behind desks. That's just how the building trade is. You have to be there to see what’s happening. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delivery being late or the rain starting, but we deal with it. It’s part of the life. We’ve been in Kukatpally for a good bit now. People in the neighborhood recognize our faces. We don't use big words or make promises we can't keep. We just tell people what can be done and how long it might take. It’s hard work, but we are used to it. The dust gets everywhere, but that’s construction for you. We keep our tools ready and try to stay organized, even when the schedule gets tight. Hyderabad is growing fast and we are just a small part of that change. We don't have a marketing team. If someone likes what we did, they tell their cousin or a friend. That’s how we get our next job. It’s a simple way to run things, but it keeps us busy enough.
