Indian Hotels Co Ltd - Taj Group

Our office is located right in the middle of Himayatnagar at Jaya Apartments. We are in Flat 103 on the first floor. It’s a busy part of Hyderabad, and 3-6-18 is an address we have gotten very used to over the years. Being part of the Indian Hotels Co Ltd - Taj Group means there is always a lot of pressure to keep things organized, but we try to keep the atmosphere here pretty down-to-earth. We deal with bookings, vendor contracts, and a lot of the logistical stuff that keeps the hotels running. The apartment setting makes it feel a bit more like a family business than a giant corporation. We have our desks crammed in, and there is always someone coming in or out with a delivery or a file. The traffic on the main road can be a nightmare during rush hour, so we usually start early to beat the noise. We don’t really do big marketing stuff here; it’s mostly just the grit and grind of daily operations. We know the local tea stall around the corner better than we know any fancy catering. It’s about getting the work done so the guests at the actual hotels have a good time. We just focus on the tasks at hand, whether it's answering emails or sorting out schedules. It’s a practical, busy office where nobody has much time for anything but the work.
