Travel Marg

Travel Marg is located over in Prakash Nagar. To be exact, we are at Plot No. A36 inside the Indian Airlines Employees Housing Colony. It’s a bit of a long address with the House No. 1. 8-450/1/A 36, but once you get into the colony, it is much easier to find. We spend our days looking at maps and checking schedules on the computer. People come to us when they want to go somewhere else for a change. It might be for a holiday or just to visit family in another state across the country. The phones ring quite a bit and there is always some paperwork to sort through on the desk. Working in a housing colony is nice because it is quieter than being on a main junction with all the horns. We see the same faces walking by every morning. It feels like a neighborhood spot. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to apologize to the people waiting in the chairs. We try to get the bookings right so nobody gets stuck at an airport or a station at night. It is a lot of looking at tiny numbers and dates. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of people. It’s just a few of us here making sure the tickets are printed and the bags are packed. We like hearing the stories from people when they get back from their trips. It makes the office feel less cramped when we hear about the places they saw.
