In India As Contractor

I’ve been working as a contractor here in Hyderabad for several years now. My base is in the 500013 zip code area. It’s a busy part of the city, and being a contractor means I’m rarely sitting still. I might be at a site early in the morning or checking on materials late into the evening. There’s always something that needs attention, whether it's a plumbing issue on a project or a delay with the labor. I don't use any fancy language to describe what I do. I just take on jobs, hire the right people for the tasks, and try to get the work finished. Sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, which is just the nature of construction in India. You learn to be flexible and patient with the process. My office is just a small room where I keep my records and take phone calls. Most of my business comes from people recommending me to their friends or family. I don't spend money on ads or social media. I'd rather just do the work and let that speak for itself. It’s a tough way to make a living sometimes, but I like being my own boss and seeing things built from the ground up. I’ve seen Hyderabad grow and change so much, and I’ve played a small part in building bits of it over time. It’s just a regular life, working hard and staying busy with the next contract that comes along.
