It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, compared to the big cities. We focus on local infrastructure projects around the district. There’s a lot of ground to cover out here. We don't have a big corporate headquarters. This is it. Just a functional building where we keep our maps and project schedules. We hire a lot of local workers when a project starts up. It’s good for the town. We don’t really bother with big speeches or marketing flyers. Most of our work comes from people knowing what we’ve done in the past. If a road holds up after a heavy rain, people notice. That’s the kind of reputation we want. The office has some old fans that hum all day and stacks of paper that never seem to go away. It’s a real working environment. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the next site we have to visit. Sometimes we have to drive quite far to reach the work zones. It's a lot of travel. Khammam is a big place with lots of needs. We just take it one project at a time and try to stay organized. It's not always easy, but we manage to keep things moving forward despite the heat.
