We run N B R S Industries out of a smallish spot in the Kukatpally Industrial Estate. Specifically, we are at Shed No 16/A, Type / Iii. Kukatpally is always buzzing, and the industrial estate is no different. It’s a tight squeeze in the IE area, with sheds packed in close together. Our place isn't the biggest, but we make use of every square inch. We have tools and materials stacked up high to save space. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes. Most of the work we do is hands-on. We don't spend much time on computers unless we absolutely have to. There’s a certain rhythm to the day here, starting with the early morning commute through the Kukatpally traffic. Once we get the lights on in Shed 16/A, it’s non-stop until we close up. The guys who work here are good people, mostly neighbors or friends of friends. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We have a couple of plastic chairs for visitors and a small desk for the paperwork. Everything else is dedicated to the industrial work. It’s a bit messy, a bit loud, and very busy, but that’s how a real workshop should be. We’ve been at this Type / Iii location for a while and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building and the area. We just keep moving forward, one day at a time. It’s not always easy with the noise and the heat, but we get by.
