V S T Industries

Over at Plot No 37 in Phase Iv of Ida Jeedimetla, you’ll find V S T Industries. This specific area of Jeedimetla is always packed with trucks and workers, and we are right in the middle of all that noise. We’ve been operating from this shed for a long time. It’s mostly metal work and general industrial stuff that we do here. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, but we try to clean it up when we have a spare minute. It’s a loud place because of the heavy machines running all day. Sometimes we have to shout just to hear each other over the clanking of the metal. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. If you need someone, you usually have to walk right back into the production area. We just focus on whatever orders we have for the week. The guys here are used to the heat and the physical work. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just regular industrial manufacturing. Some days are definitely smoother than others. When a machine breaks down, it’s all hands on deck to get it running again as fast as we can. We take our tea breaks together and talk about whatever is happening in the neighborhood. It’s just a regular workplace with people trying to do a decent job. We’ve been in this spot long enough that we know all the neighbors quite well.
