Techno Plast Components

Down in Ida Jeedimetla Phase III, at D 150/A, you’ll find Techno Plast Components. We are a small manufacturing unit that focuses on making plastic parts for various machines. The place is usually quite hot because the injection molding machines run almost twenty-four hours a day. There is a constant clicking sound as the plastic pieces drop into the bins after they’ve cooled. We have to be very careful with the timing, or the parts come out warped, so someone is always watching the clocks. The floor is concrete and can get a bit slippery if we aren’t careful with the cooling water. We don’t have a big office; it’s just a small wooden table pushed into the corner where we keep the invoices and the logbooks. Most of our day is spent standing by the machines or packing parts into cardboard boxes for shipping. Phase III can be a bit dusty, and our windows stay open most of the time to let the heat out. We know our way around the neighborhood and often get lunch from the small canteen just down the road. We aren’t trying to change the world or anything; we are just making sure the components we produce are the right size and don’t have any rough edges. It’s a basic, honest living, and we’ve been doing it at this spot for quite a few years now.
