Sri Sai Sadan Industries

We’re located on Pipe Line Road in Subhash Nagar, specifically at 7 605/4/1 Plot No 196. This is in Ida Jeedimetla, so it’s a very industrial part of town. Sri Sai Sadan Industries is basically a big shed where we do all our heavy work. The Pipe Line Road is always busy with tankers and trucks, which makes getting in and out of the driveway a bit of a challenge some days. Inside the unit, it’s mostly just the sound of metal hitting metal and the hum of the power supply. We have a small office partitioned off with some plywood, but it’s mostly used for storing records and having a quick sit-down. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of oil and grease. We don't have any corporate protocols or fancy uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. Most of us have been working here for years, so we’re like a small family. We share tea and talk about the news when there’s a break in the production. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside on the steps until it comes back on.
