Sri Rama Engineering Fabrication Works

Sri Rama Engineering Fabrication Works is a small metal shop in Phase I of Jeedimetla. We are at Plot 45/B, and you can usually hear us before you see us. There is always the sound of grinding metal or the hum of the welding machines. We do a lot of fabrication work, mostly making steel frames or parts for machines. It’s a messy job with sparks flying and grease everywhere, but that’s just how metalwork goes. I’ve been doing this for a long time, and my hands are always stained with something. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people just come by the shop when they need something welded or built. We have some heavy equipment that takes up most of the floor space, so it's a bit cramped in there. We try to keep things moving and get the orders out on time, but sometimes the materials take a while to arrive. The traffic in Ida Jeedimetla can be a real pain during the rush hour, so we try to get our deliveries done early. It’s just me and a few skilled guys who know their way around a torch. We don't make any big promises, we just look at the drawings and try to build what is asked of us. It’s practical work and it keeps us busy enough. The tea stall down the road is where we usually take our breaks.
