Shine Chem Laboratories

Our lab is on the second floor of Plot No 108, Part A, over in the SVCIE part of IDA Jeedimetla. Being on the second floor means we get a bit less of the street dust, but it’s still a climb with supplies. The space is divided into a few different rooms for the testing and the clerical stuff. We’ve got various glass containers, scales, and some older testing gear that still works perfectly fine. It isn't a TV version of a lab with white lights and shiny surfaces. It’s a working space where things get used and moved around. We spend a lot of our time looking at samples and writing down numbers in our logbooks. It can be tedious work, but it’s what we do. The power goes out occasionally, which is always a headache for the equipment, but we’ve learned to manage. We aren't a massive facility with thousands of employees. There are just a handful of us here who know the processes inside out. We don't do much talking while we’re working because you have to pay attention to the measurements. We grab tea from the stall downstairs when we need a break. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just focus on getting the results right so the client can move on with their business. It’s a quiet, steady kind of life here in Jeedimetla. We just keep our heads down and stay focused on the tasks.
