Nidhi Plastics

Nidhi Plastics is tucked away at Plot No 108 in Subashnagar, within the Jeedimetla IDA. It’s a pretty standard industrial plot. We’ve got machines running for most of the day, so there is always a steady hum in the background. The air smells a bit like warm plastic, which you get used to after about ten minutes. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a receptionist at a front desk. Usually, you just walk in and someone will point you toward whoever is available to talk. We handle a lot of different plastic items and the inventory tends to pile up in the corners if we aren’t careful. Our staff is mostly local guys from around the neighborhood who have been working with plastics for a long time. We use some older machines that still run great as long as you treat them right. The paperwork is mostly done by hand in big spiral notebooks before we put it into the computer. It’s just the way we’ve always done it. On Fridays, we usually wrap up a bit earlier if the main orders are out the door. The road outside can get pretty cramped with lorries, so we try to time our deliveries for the early morning. It’s a no-frills kind of place. We just focus on making sure the products are solid and that we don’t run out of raw materials. That’s our day-to-day life here in Subashnagar.
