Manikanta Packaging

If you walk into Plot No 802 in Subhash Nagar, you will mostly see big stacks of cardboard and smell the scent of glue. Manikanta Packaging has been in this part of Ida Jeedimetla for a good amount of time now. We spend our days cutting, folding, and taping. It is often repetitive work, but if the box isn't made right, the product inside won't stay safe. That is what we tell any of the new guys when they start. The machines make a lot of loud thumping noises throughout the afternoon. We have a few different standard sizes we keep in stock, but a lot of the time we are making something specific for a customer who has a weirdly shaped item to ship. Subhash Nagar is a busy spot, so getting the delivery van in and out of the gate is a struggle during peak hours. We have had the same crew for a couple of years now, and they know the rhythm of the floor. There is no big corporate structure here. I am usually out on the floor as much as I am sitting at the desk. We keep a ledger for the accounts and try our best to stay on top of the raw material prices, which seem to keep jumping around lately. If the shutters are up, we are working. It is a very straightforward business. We don't have a fancy showroom, just the workshop at Plot No 802 where the packaging gets done.
