Our lab is located at Plot No 33 in Phase I of Ida Jeedimetla. We have been at this spot in Sy No 264 for quite a while now. It is an industrial area, so there is always something going on nearby. We deal with various chemicals and testing processes here. It is not a glamorous job. There is a lot of sitting and watching timers or checking samples. The equipment is expensive so we have to be very careful with it. Sometimes things break and we have to wait for a technician to come down from the city. Quthbullapur is a busy part of town. The traffic on the way to the lab can be a real headache in the mornings. We have a small team, mostly people from around this area. We take our lunch breaks together in the small room near the entrance. It is quiet in the lab compared to the noise outside in the Ida. We keep records in big ledgers and also on an old computer that is a bit slow. The floors are always being mopped because we have to keep it clean for the work. It is just the way things are done here. We do not have a big marketing department. People who need our services usually find us through other businesses in the same phase. We just focus on getting the reports done. Most of the staff wears white coats that get stained pretty fast.
