Our place is tucked away behind the Deccan Weigh Bridge. If you know Phase V in Jeedimetla, you know it’s a lot of trucks and dust. We are over at No 5 66. It’s an industrial spot, so there is always some noise from the neighbors. We do technical work here, mostly putting systems together and checking parts. It isn't the cleanest job. You end up with grease on your hands or dust on your clothes by lunchtime. We’ve got a small team. Some of us have been here for years, others just started. We use a lot of tools and sometimes they go missing right when you need them. That’s usually when we have to stop and look under the benches. The office part is small, just enough for a few desks and some files that are probably getting a bit old. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. The weather in Quthbullapur Mandal can get really hot in the summer, so the fans are always on full blast. We don’t really have a big sign out front or anything. People who need us usually know where the weigh bridge is and find their way back here. It’s just honest work. We build what needs building, fix what breaks, and try to get home before the traffic gets too bad. That is our daily life at Sanpure.
