Nitish Engineering Works

Nitish Engineering Works is tucked away at Plot No 31A in Phase I of IDA Cherlapally. Cherlapally is a huge industrial zone, and Phase I is one of the more established parts of it. Our workshop is where we do all the heavy lifting, literally and figuratively. We deal with various engineering repairs and fabrication tasks. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of grease is pretty much everywhere. It’s not a clean environment, but that’s the nature of engineering work. We have been at this plot for several years now and have slowly added more tools and machines as we went along. The crew here is small, mostly just a few guys who have a lot of experience with lathes and welding equipment. We don’t have a website or any fancy brochures. Most of our work comes from other businesses in the IDA who need something fixed or made quickly. The traffic in Cherlapally can be a nightmare during shift changes, so we try to get our deliveries out early. It’s a noisy, busy place but it feels like home to us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the metalwork that needs to get done. There’s always a bit of tea being brewed in the corner and someone usually has a radio playing some music to keep the mood light while we work on the heavy stuff.
