Our office is on the 2nd Floor of Plot no: 195/1 in the IDA Cherlapally area of Hyderabad. Being on the second floor means we have to walk up the stairs a lot, which keeps us moving throughout the day. The IDA Cherlapally section is a massive industrial zone, so there’s always the sound of sirens, trucks, and machinery in the background. It’s a very busy part of Hyderabad, and the traffic can be a real headache in the evenings when everyone is trying to leave. Inside Axiom Power Products Pvt. Ltd., things are pretty straightforward. We have a set of desks and a space where we handle the power products. It’s not a large office, but it’s enough for the team we have. The windows look out over the rooftops of other industrial buildings and some of the trees that manage to grow in between the plots. We use a lot of fans because the Hyderabad heat can get trapped on the upper floors. There’s a small pantry area where we keep the water cooler and a hot plate for making tea. Most of us have been here for a while, so we have a routine down. We aren’t looking for any awards for our decor; we just want a functional space where we can do our jobs and then go home to our families. It gets pretty quiet once the machines stop downstairs.
