Down in IDA Jeedimetla, at Plot No 6, you’ll find us working away at Virchow Chemicals. This part of Hyderabad is well known for its industrial roots, and we fit right in with the rest of the plants in the S V C I E area. Working with chemicals isn't like other jobs; it requires a lot of standing around and watching gauges or making sure the mixtures are just right. We spend a lot of time in our boots and gear, moving between the different tanks and the storage area. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a quiet afternoon. There is always the hum of pumps or the sound of a forklift moving pallets around. We’ve been here long enough that we don't really notice the industrial smells anymore. The staff is mostly people from the local neighborhoods who have been with us for a good while. We don't have a lot of time for polished corporate talk. Usually, we’re just discussing the latest batch or checking the schedule for the next delivery. It can be hard work, especially when the weather is humid, but we have a routine that works for us. We just focus on getting the drums filled and moved out to the customers who need them. It’s practical, messy sometimes, but it’s what we do every day without making a big fuss about it. We’re just another part of the Jeedimetla industrial landscape.
