Hyderabad Wire Industries

If you head over to Plot No. 130 in the C. I. E. part of Gandhi Nagar you will find us working away. This is Hyderabad Wire Industries and it is mostly a place where things get made and moved around all day. The industrial area can be quite dusty and there is always some kind of noise coming from the neighboring units. Inside our gates there are usually coils of wire sitting around waiting to be processed or loaded onto a truck. It is hard work and the guys here are usually covered in a bit of grease or metal dust by lunch time. We don't have a fancy office or a big reception area because most of our time is spent on the floor dealing with the machines. The roof is corrugated metal so you really hear it when it rains hard during the monsoon season. We started out small and just kept adding a bit more equipment as the years went by. It isn't a place for people to just come and hang out but if someone needs a specific type of wire for a project they usually find their way to our gate eventually. We have our routines and the schedule stays pretty consistent from Monday to Saturday. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time and they know the machines inside and out. It’s a busy spot in a busy part of town.
