K B Polymers

We run K B Polymers out of D 62 in Phase I of IDA Jeedimetla in Hyderabad. It’s a typical industrial setup with a lot of heavy machinery and the smell of plastic in the air. We’ve been here for several years and seen the neighborhood change quite a bit as more factories moved in. The work we do involves melting and shaping polymers for various uses. It isn't the cleanest job in the world, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We have a steady rhythm going here. The machines start up early and they don't really stop until it’s time to go home. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If someone comes by D 62, they usually just walk up to the main floor and find one of us. We focus on getting the orders out on time because we know people are waiting on them. Sometimes the electricity cuts out or a machine breaks down, and we have to scramble to get back on track. That’s just part of life in Jeedimetla. We like the local vibe here and the fact that we know the other shop owners on the block. It’s an honest way to make a living and we take it one day at a time. No big speeches or complicated plans, just work.
