Huntsman Advanced Material(India) Pvt Ltd is situated in D.V. Township, specifically at F.No.106 on the first floor. We are in the VI Block of Sudha Nagar Colony in Old Safilguda, Hyderabad. It’s a bit of a maze to get here if you don’t know the colony well. The office is located in a residential style building, so it feels very much like a part of the neighborhood. We see the same people walking their dogs every morning when we arrive. Inside, it’s all about chemicals and advanced materials, though you wouldn't know it from the outside. We have our equipment and desks all set up in the rooms. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when we get new shipments in, but we manage. The Hyderabad heat means we keep the shutters down during the afternoon to stay cool. We aren't a massive corporate headquarters with a glass front. We’re just a dedicated team working in a quiet part of Safilguda. Lunch is usually something spicy from a local place nearby. We talk about the cricket scores or the new flyover they’re building. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of atmosphere. We do our testing and our paperwork and then we pack up for the day. No one is trying to be a hero; we just want to get the orders right and keep things moving forward. It’s a simple life here in the VI Block.
