Our office for HRIDAY CHIT FUND PRIVATE LIMITED is tucked away in Begum Bazar. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and traders. We are located at 15-7-423 to 425, which is right at the back side of the Post Office. That post office is a lifesaver when people ask for directions because otherwise, they might get lost in the lanes. The office isn't anything special to look at. It's just a place where we sit and handle the chit-fund business every day. We get a lot of noise from the street, but that is just part of being in Begum Bazar. Most of the people who come to see us are local shopkeepers or residents who have been around for years. We don't use fancy software or anything; we like our notebooks and registers. It feels more real that way. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just open the windows and keep working. It's a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we keep the place as clean as we can. I’ve been working here for a long time now. We don't really do ads or anything. People just find out about us from their neighbors or cousins. It's a small team, just a few of us making sure the monthly cycles run on time without any issues. We stay till late most evenings getting the tallies right and finishing the daily work.
