Home Designs

We are Home Designs, located in the 500001 area of Hyderabad. It’s a pretty central location which makes it easy to get to different parts of the city for work. We’ve been doing this for several years now, focusing on houses mostly. I think names like ours are common because we just do what it says—design homes. Our days are filled with looking at catalogs and visiting sites where things are being built or fixed. It can get quite tiring walking around half-finished buildings with all that cement and bricks, but it is part of the job. I usually have a tea at the corner stall before starting the day's work. My desk is usually covered in samples of fabric or bits of tile. We don't go for anything too flashy here. We just try to listen to what someone wants for their living room or bedroom and see if we can make it happen. Sometimes it takes longer than we thought it would. Hyderabad can be a tough place to get things delivered on time, especially with the narrow roads around here. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a small team, and we all know each other well. We don't have many meetings, we just talk across the room and get things sorted out as they come up. We just keep our heads down and work until the sun goes down.
