Our shop is located in the Surya Arcade, right across the street from the Pantaloons in Begumpet. It is a pretty easy place to find if you are already out doing some shopping in the area. We have been here for a bit, filling the space with all kinds of things people might need for their houses. It is not a massive store where you get lost, but we have enough packed into 1-11-247 to keep things interesting. Most mornings start with us opening the shutters and dusting off the shelves. Since we are right on the main road, a lot of dust comes in, so cleaning is a never-ending job. We have different sections for different household items, though sometimes things get a bit jumbled when it’s a busy Saturday afternoon. We don't have those fancy computer systems that track everything perfectly; we mostly just know where everything is because we put it there ourselves. If someone asks for a specific pot or a curtain rod, we can usually point them to the right corner. It’s just a regular local business. We don't do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just wander in because they were passing by or their neighbor told them we had what they were looking for. We sit behind the counter, handle the payments, and chat with the regulars. It is a simple way to spend the day in Begumpet.
