Hkgn Travels

Hkgn Travels has been based in Putli Bowli for a good while now. It’s a busy part of Hyderabad, especially with all the traffic coming through the 500001 area. Our office isn’t much to look at, just a few chairs and a desk where we handle bookings for people heading out of town. We mostly deal with bus tickets and helping folks figure out how to get from one place to another without too much trouble. The street outside is usually loud with autos and bikes, so it never really gets quiet here until late at night. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything fancy like that. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and wait for customers to come in. Most of the people who stop by are from the neighborhood or found us while walking through Putli Bowli. We keep a few registers for our records and spend a lot of time on the phone checking on schedules. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the tea guy brings us a round of chai in the afternoon which helps when it’s hot. We’ve seen many shops in this area change hands over the years, but we’ve managed to stay put right here. If you are in the area and need to find a seat on a bus, we are usually sitting here ready to look it up on the computer for you.
