Hi-Tech Mineral Water

We spend most of our mornings here at B-10 in T. I. E. Phase-2, Balanagar, just getting the machines ready. Hi-Tech Mineral Water isn't a fancy office with carpets or anything like that. It’s a workplace where we watch the water levels and make sure the bottles are clean. The sun gets pretty hot in this part of Balanagar, so being around the cooling systems is actually okay. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic on the main road, but we just keep filling the tanks. There is always a layer of dust outside from the other factories in the industrial estate, but inside we keep things as tidy as possible. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Most days it’s just about checking the filters and making sure the seals are on tight. It’s noisy when the bottling line starts up, but you get used to it after a week. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. If a pump acts up, we fix it ourselves right there. It’s basic work, but people need water every day, so we stay busy. Sometimes we drink tea out front while waiting for the next batch to finish. It’s not a complicated life. We just focus on what’s happening at our unit here in Phase-2.
