Sankalp Filters

If you're walking down the Himayat Nagar Main Road in Hyderabad, you'll see us at Vishwa Bhavan, right next to the McDonalds. Sankalp Filters is a small place compared to the big food chains nearby. We mostly deal with water filters and parts for them. It's always loud outside with all the cars and bikes, and sometimes the smell of burgers drifts in when the wind is right. Inside, it’s just shelves and shelves of filter cartridges and plastic tubing. People come in all day asking why their water tastes funny or why their machine is leaking on the floor. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us behind the counter. We try to help everyone who walks in, even if they're just looking for a tiny washer. The shop gets pretty crowded when more than three people are inside at once. We spend a lot of time cleaning the dust off the display units so they look okay. It’s a simple business. We know which filters work for the local water and which ones don't. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the city, just the one people can rely on when their purifier breaks down. Sometimes we run out of stock and have to tell people to come back tomorrow, which is annoying for them, but we do our best. It's just a regular shop on a busy street.
