We’re located in the Vijaya Apartments over in Priya Colony, which is in the Mehdipatnam area of Hyderabad. Our specific spot is 12-2-422/6. Even though our name mentions the UK, we’ve been running things from here in India for a while. Herberts Industrial is a small operation, mostly handling industrial supplies and related things. The office is in a residential-style building, which makes it feel more relaxed than a big office park. It can get a bit loud outside with the Hyderabad traffic, but once you’re inside, it’s just us working through orders and talking to suppliers. We have a lot of catalogs and samples lying around the place. It’s not a showroom by any means; it’s a working office. We don’t go in for big branding or polished sales pitches. Usually, we’re just on the phone or responding to emails. We’ve been in Mehdipatnam long enough to know where to get the best lunch and which roads to avoid during rush hour. Most of our customers are other businesses who just want their parts delivered on time. We try to make that happen without making a big deal out of it. It’s a practical way to run a business. We show up every morning, check what needs doing, and get to it. No fuss, just the usual daily grind. My father started this kind of work, and I just kept it going because it’s what we know.
