Hemaanth Kumar Dyes Chemicals

Started this shop near the Begum Bazar Post Office. It's tucked away behind Kashmir House, so you have to look for the sign. We spend most of the day handling various dye powders and industrial chemicals. The shop gets pretty busy in the mornings when the local transport arrives. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning or glass doors. Just a regular workplace with shelves full of containers and people coming in to check on their orders. My father worked in this trade and I just kept it going. We know the neighbors well and the post office staff usually drops by for a chat. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We mostly deal with small textile units and printers who need specific shades. It’s a lot of manual work, weighing things out and packing them properly. The space is a bit tight with all the stock, especially when a new shipment comes in from the warehouse. We try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when there are twenty different things happening at once. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that's usually our only real break. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes people get lost looking for us because the backside entrance is a bit hidden, but once they find us, they usually come back.
