Being up on the third floor of the Turning Point Building in Madhapur means we see a lot of what’s happening on the street below. We are at House No 1-88/5/a/275, and the ICICI Bank is just a short walk away, so there’s always people moving around this part of the city. The elevator in this building has its moods, but most days it gets everyone up here just fine. Inside the clinic, it’s mostly quiet except for the hum of the air conditioner and the occasional sound of a car horn from down on the road. We spend our mornings setting up the hair and skin equipment and checking the logs. Madhapur is a busy area, but once you get inside our space, things slow down a bit. We have a few windows that look out over the nearby buildings. The staff usually brings lunch from home and we eat in the small back room. There’s a lot of paperwork to deal with, as you’d expect at a skin clinic and hair institute. We try to keep the lobby tidy, though the magazines always end up in a mess by noon. It’s a practical setup, nothing too over the top. We just focus on the tasks at hand and make sure everything is clean for whoever walks through the door next. The days go by pretty fast when it is busy, and then we just lock up and go home.
