Gs Bakers & Confectioners is located at H. No. 13-1-55/E/1/C. This is Plot No. 1/C in Avanthi Nagar, which is part of the Mothi Nagar area. The pincode is 5000018 here in Telangana. We’ve been baking at this spot for quite a while now. The kitchen takes up most of the space because we need the big ovens and the mixing tables. Every morning we start early to get the bread and biscuits ready before the sun gets too high. The smell of baking dough usually fills the street in Avanthi Nagar. It’s a small shop front where we display what we’ve made for the day. We don’t have a huge variety, just the stuff people like to eat with their tea. Mothi Nagar is a busy place, so we get a lot of people walking by. We don’t use any fancy machines, mostly just doing things by hand like we always have. The floor is usually covered in a bit of flour, no matter how much we sweep. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months, but it's what we do. We have a few regular customers who come every single day for their snacks. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us working the ovens and another person behind the counter. It's a simple business, nothing like those big chain bakeries you see in the malls. We just stay here and keep the ovens going.
