Granite Construction Company

We started Granite Construction Company some years back. Our office is tucked away in Vivekananda Colony, right in the Silver Crest Apartments. It's on the second floor, flat 202. Mehdipatnam is a busy area so we like being in this quieter pocket. Most days we are out on sites across Hyderabad. The phone rings a lot and there's always paperwork piled up on the desks. We handle the usual building stuff, mostly focused on stone work and general construction needs. It's just a handful of us here. Sometimes the traffic near the apartment gets a bit much during rush hour. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Neighbors know us as the guys always carrying blueprints or stone samples. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything. Just a regular place where we get the job done. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and making sure the trucks arrive where they are supposed to. Sometimes they don’t, and that’s just how it goes in this business. We try to keep things moving. There is always tea being made in the small kitchen in the back. If someone stops by, they usually find us looking over some drawings or arguing about a delivery schedule. It’s honest work. We know the roads around here well. It’s a good spot for us because we can get to different parts of the city fairly easily from Mehdipatnam. We have a couple of old fans that rattle in the summer. We just keep our heads down and finish the projects. There is no big secret to how we operate. We just show up and deal with whatever comes up that day.
