This is the local setup for Granite Construction Company, Abu Dhabi. Our contact point is here in Dilsukhnagar, specifically over at Srikrishna Nagar Colony. It’s a residential area, Road No. 2. The house is H.N.-17-8/1, where Subhash and Laxmi are based. It’s a bit of a bridge between the work happening over in the Middle East and the roots here in Hyderabad. The house is usually quiet, but there’s always work being sorted out in the front room. Dilsukhnagar is always crowded, so having a quiet lane to work from helps quite a bit. We’ve been using this address to keep things organized for the Abu Dhabi projects. It isn’t a commercial storefront, just a place where the administrative side of things gets handled. We keep track of various construction details and people moving between locations. It’s practical. My days are spent on the computer or the phone, making sure everyone is on the same page. The rain sometimes messes with the internet around here, which is a headache. But we manage. It’s a small operation on this end, mostly just keeping the wheels turning for the bigger projects elsewhere. People in the colony see us as the construction folks, even if the actual building happens far away. We keep things simple and try to stay on top of the schedule. Every day has its own set of small problems to fix. We don't mind.
