Handloom Carpet Industries

Our workshop is located at 9/10/467/1, very close to Golconda Fort. Handloom Carpet Industries is the name we’ve had for a long time. Working so close to the fort is interesting. You can see the old walls and the history everywhere. We focus on carpets, and we do a lot of it by hand. It’s not the fastest way to work, but it’s the way we’ve always done it. The building we are in is quite old and has a lot of character. It’s filled with wool, dyes, and the big wooden frames we use for the carpets. It’s not a clean or modern place, but it smells like a workshop should. We aren't a giant company. We are just a local group of people who know how to weave. We don't use marketing talk or try to sound bigger than we are. Handloom Carpet Industries is just about the work itself. The address is a bit long to write down, but once you are in the Golconda Fort area, we aren't hard to find. Sometimes tourists stop by to see what we are doing, and we don't mind. We just keep our heads down and continue with our weaving. It’s a quiet, steady kind of life. We’ve been here for years and we like the neighborhood. It’s a good place to be for this kind of work.
