Down at H.No. 8-67/1 in Hyderabad, we have our local setup for Godrej & Boyce Mfg.Co.Ltd. This part of the city has its own rhythm, and we’ve adapted to it over the years. Our office isn't anything you'd see in a magazine. It’s a working space, plain and simple. We have boxes stacked in corners and desks that have seen better days, but they serve their purpose. Most of us have been working here for a long time, so we know the routines inside and out. We deal with customers and technical issues as they come up. There’s no script we follow when people call us. We just listen and try to help out based on what we know. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, though we do get busy when new shipments arrive or year-end rolls around. We don't use a lot of corporate jargon in our daily talk. We just call things as they are. It’s a practical environment where the focus is on finishing the task at hand so we can all go home to our families. We appreciate the honest nature of the work. There aren't any big surprises here, just a steady stream of responsibilities that keep us occupied from Monday to Saturday. It’s a good, solid place to work without any of the extra fluff. We just keep the business moving.
