Gmr Infrastructure

Our spot is over in the Medha Rejoice Apartments in Attapur. It's a bit different running Gmr Infrastructure from an apartment building compared to a regular office block, but it works for us. Hyderabad is growing fast and we are right in the middle of it. We mostly focus on the technical side of building things. The space here is quiet enough to think, though the traffic outside can get loud. We have a few desks and a lot of blueprints lying around. Most of the time, the guys are out at sites, and there's only one or two people actually in the office. It's simple. We handle the scheduling and the boring admin stuff that keeps projects moving. Being in Attapur makes it easy to get to different parts of the city. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea and going over spreadsheets. It's practical. We have been here for some time and the neighbors know us. It feels more like a workspace than a company headquarters. We deal with the nuts and bolts of infrastructure. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, but that’s just how it is. We keep it moving and try to stay on top of the work coming in. There are days when the phone won't stop ringing and other days when it's just the sound of keyboards clicking. We take it as it comes and just do the work.
