Globe Furniture

Globe Furniture is at 2-1/8/A Jawakkal Manzil, right on Miyapur Main Road. We are directly across from the Janayapriya Apartments, so it is a spot most people in the area recognize. The road outside is always busy with cars and buses, which brings a lot of dust into the shop. We spend a good part of the morning just wiping down the tables and chairs. It is a small team here, just a couple of us most days. We don't have any fancy displays or bright neon signs. We just keep the furniture arranged so people can walk through and see what is available. The shutters go up early, and we stay until the evening traffic starts to die down. Sometimes people from the apartments across the street just walk over to ask about a specific cupboard or a bed frame. We talk to them, show them what we have in the back, and that’s about it. There is no high-pressure sales stuff here. We don't even have a computer in the front. We keep our records in a big ledger book and use a calculator when we need to. It is a simple way of running things, but it has worked for us for a long time. The Janayapriya apartments are a good landmark for people trying to find us. If you see the big gates there, we are just on the other side of the road.
