Glassy Impex

Glassy Impex is located right near the Sarojni Devi Eye Hospital in Mehdipatnam. If you know that landmark, you can find us pretty easily at 10-3-76/7. The area is always crowded with people coming and going from the hospital, so there’s a lot of noise and activity outside our door. We work in the import-export business, mostly handling glass-related items and some other hardware. It’s a small office, nothing too special to look at. We have a few desks and a lot of glass samples sitting on shelves collecting a bit of dust. Dealing with customs and shipping containers is what fills our day. It can be quite stressful when a shipment is stuck at the port, but we’ve learned to be patient over the years. We started this because we saw a gap in the local market for certain types of glass products. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the paperwork is right and the customers are getting their stuff on time. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to wait to send emails, which is annoying, but we get by. Mehdipatnam is a good spot for us because it’s central and easy for delivery trucks. We get a lot of walk-ins who are just curious about what we do. We explain things simply without using any big business words. It’s just a regular local business trying to do a good job day in and day out.
