Our place is at D-43 in Phase-I of the Jeedimetla industrial area. If you’ve ever walked through Jeedimetla, you’ll know it’s full of the smell of oil and the sound of heavy metal hitting metal. That is exactly what our daily life is like at Geetha Tools. We’ve been here for years, making and selling tools that other factories need to keep their own machines going. It’s a very practical business. Our workshop isn't exactly pretty to look at. There are grease stains on the floor and the walls could definitely use a new coat of paint, but the tools we produce are solid and do what they are supposed to. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time now. They know the machines better than anyone else. We don't spend our time writing fancy brochures or going to big corporate meetings. Most of our time is spent right here on the shop floor, checking measurements or talking to customers who drive in to pick up a specific order. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial estate, and we all just sit outside for a bit until the humming starts again. It’s just the way things are here. We’re a private limited company on paper, but in reality, we’re just a bunch of people who know how to work with steel. We’ve stayed in this same spot because it’s where our customers are, and it's where we feel at home.
