Our office for Gannon Dunkerley & Co., Ltd. is located right at Iii-52 in the N.T.P.C Colony in Tanda. It’s a pretty specific spot within the Vidyut Nagar area of Ambedkar Nagar, U.P. To be honest, it’s just a regular workplace where we come every morning to get things done. The colony itself is usually quiet, which is nice for focusing, though the summer heat here in Uttar Pradesh can be really tough to deal with. We don’t have fancy lobby areas or anything like that. It’s just us, some desks, a lot of files, and the usual office equipment that sometimes works and sometimes needs a bit of a kick. Most of us have been around here for a while, so we know the local chai guy and the rhythms of the neighborhood. People often ask us what we do exactly, and we just tell them we’re part of the Gannon Dunkerley team handling things on the ground. The address Iii-52 is easy to find once you get past the main security gates of the colony. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished mission statements. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and try to keep things organized. It’s a practical life here in Tanda. We have our routines, like checking the mail and making sure the fans are running when it gets stuffy. It’s just an honest day’s work for everyone in this office.
