Our spot for Gannon Dunkerley & Co. Ltd. is over in Kummar Wadi, Mustaid Pura. We are at 13-1-1140/A/68 here in Hyderabad. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot going on. The office is tucked away and isn't much to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of paper. Civil engineering and various infrastructure projects are handled from this location. It’s a lot of work and the phone is usually ringing. There isn't a professional receptionist or anything. Whoever is closest to the phone just picks it up. It’s a very hands-on environment. Most of the people working here have a lot of experience on actual construction sites. We talk a lot of shop and drink way too much tea during the day. Sometimes the heat in Hyderabad makes things tough, but we keep the fans going and stay on task. Big corporate handbooks don't exist here. We just know what needs to be done and we go about doing it. There are always challenges with every project, but that's what we are here for. It’s a straightforward business and nobody tries to make it sound more complicated than it is. We’re just a local team doing our bit. People around the neighborhood usually see us coming and going at odd hours.
