Lorven Paints And Chemicals

We are over here at Shed No F5/B1 in the Ida Kukatpally area of Gandhi Nagar. It’s been our spot for a good while. Every morning starts about the same, unlocking the big metal doors and letting the air out before the sun gets too high. If you know this part of town, you know it gets pretty crowded with trucks and people moving things around all day. The work we do involves a lot of mixing and keeping track of different chemical batches. It’s not fancy work, but it fills the day. There is always a smell of paint in the air which you get used to after about ten minutes. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. The shed is big enough for what we do but it gets cramped when a new shipment comes in. We don’t have a big office or anything, just a desk in the corner with some old papers and a fan that rattles. Most of the guys have been here for years. We just try to get the orders out and keep the floor as clean as you can expect in a place like this. Gandhi Nagar has changed quite a bit since we first got here, but our shed stays pretty much the same. Most of us just keep our heads down and focus on getting through the list of tasks for the day. It's a living.
