Vijaya Bhaskar Polymers

Our place is tucked away at Plot No. 144 in Sri Ven Enclave, over in Gajularamaram. It’s part of the Quthbullapur Mandal in the Rangareddy District. Working with polymers means there’s always a distinct smell of plastic in the air around our unit. We started out with just a couple of machines and have slowly added a few more as the years went by. The enclave is mostly industrial, so our neighbors are doing similar kinds of work. We don't have a big sign out front, just the plot number and the company name painted on the gate. The local guys from around Quthbullapur make up most of our workforce. We spend the day monitoring the heat and the molds to make sure the products come out okay. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and by the end of the shift, everyone is ready for a wash. We don’t spend money on fancy marketing because the local manufacturers around Rangareddy know where to find us when they need polymer parts. The road leading up to the enclave can be a bit bumpy, especially after the rains, but the delivery trucks still make it through. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep the machines running without too many breakdowns. It’s a simple life and a simple business, which is how we like it.
