G R Dental Clinic

If you go to the first floor of Silver Oaks, you will find G R Dental Clinic. We are right opposite Khaja Mansion in Masab Tank, which is a busy enough spot. The stairs up to the 105 unit are a bit narrow, but once you are inside, it opens up a bit. You can hear the traffic from Masab Tank even through the glass, but you get used to it after a while. The clinic has that specific smell that all dental offices have, no matter how much you try to mask it. We spend our hours looking at teeth, cleaning instruments, and making sure the chair is ready for the next person. It is a lot of standing and leaning over, which can be tiring by the end of the day. The light in the office is bright so we can see what we are doing, but the waiting area is a bit more relaxed. We have some old posters on the walls about brushing, though I think most people just stare at their phones while they wait. It is a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to filing away the patient records. We don’t have any fancy bells or whistles, just the tools we need and a place for people to sit. Most of our day is just following the schedule and trying to make sure everyone gets seen without waiting too long in those plastic chairs.
