We've been here at Ashok Market for a good while now. You can find us right behind Hotel Rajdhani, which most people know. It’s a busy spot but we like it. We handle all sorts of battery stuff. People come in when their cars won't start or they need something for their home backup. We just try to keep things running. It gets dusty in the shop sometimes, but that's just part of the work. We've seen the market change a lot over the years. Some days are packed and other days we just sit and wait for the next person to walk in. My cousin helps out when it's busy. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It's just a practical space where we store the stock and talk to customers. Sometimes the power goes out around here and that's when everyone remembers they need a new battery. We try to keep most types in stock so nobody has to wait too long. If you're coming by, look for the sign near the hotel entrance. It's not the biggest place, but we get the job done. We’ve had the same neighbors for years. It feels like a little community back here. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries to show up. The market can be a bit overwhelming for some, but if you find the hotel, you'll find us. It's just a normal business day for us.
