S V Jig Boring Works

S V Jig Boring Works is based at 7 8 22/7 in Goutham Nagar. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads. We do jig boring here, which basically means a lot of sitting around and watching the machines do their thing once they are set up. The floors are usually covered in some metal shavings and oil, no matter how much we try to sweep up. It is just part of the job. Goutham Nagar has changed a bit over the years but our little corner stays mostly the same. The address 7 8 22/7 is where you will find us most days from morning until late afternoon. Sometimes we stay later if a job is being stubborn. We have a few regular people who come in, and the chai wala knows exactly when to bring the tea. There is not much to say about us other than we just show up and do what needs to be done. The machines are old but they still work okay for what we need. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy things about what we do. It is just a workspace with some tools and some people who know how to use them. When the monsoon hits, the roof leaks a little near the back, but we just move the stuff out of the way. It’s just how it is. We aren't trying to be something we're not.
