We are located right in the middle of Feelkhana, up on the second floor of the Samudrala Complex. If you are looking for us, we are just across the street from the Municipal Office in Hyderabad. It gets pretty busy around here during the day with all the traffic and people heading to the government offices. Our branch has been here for a while now. We handle basic banking stuff for people in the neighborhood. Usually, the morning starts with opening the shutters and getting the ledger books or computers ready. It is a local urban bank, so most people who walk in are folks we know by name from around the corner. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes in these older buildings. We try to keep things organized despite the noise from the main road outside. Hyderabad summers are hot, so we rely on the fans quite a bit. There isn't anything fancy about our office, just the usual desks and chairs you would expect to see. People come by to deposit a bit of cash or check their balances. We spend a lot of our time just chatting with the regulars while we work through the paperwork. It is a steady pace, nothing like the big corporate banks in the high-rise areas. We just focus on getting the day's entries done and making sure everyone is sorted.
