We’ve been operating out of Fathenagar for quite some time now, specifically at 1-26/b here in Hyderabad-18. It’s an area that has changed a lot over the years, but our little spot has stayed pretty much the same. The building is just a simple one-story structure with a metal roof that gets really loud when it rains. We spend our days mostly handling paperwork and dealing with people who come in with various requests. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s what we do. We have an old desk that’s been with us since the start and a couple of chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. The walls are mostly bare, except for a couple of calendars from a few years ago that we never bothered to take down. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is basically what keeps us going throughout the afternoon. Sometimes the street outside gets flooded if the monsoon is heavy, and we have to put some sandbags at the door. It’s just one of those things you deal with when you've been in the same neighborhood for a while. We aren't a big firm with many departments. It’s just a few of us making sure everything gets handled properly. We go home when the work is finished, and start over again the next day. It is a quiet, steady life.
