Express Wash Laundromat

We have been running this place at 9-4-134/60 for a while now. It is right on the ground floor in Aruna Colony, which makes it easier for people to drop off their big bags of laundry without climbing any stairs. Tolichowki is a busy area so there is always someone coming in or out of the shop. We have several machines lined up against the walls. Some are for washing and some are for drying. Most days it smells like detergent and warm clothes in here. It gets a bit hot when all the dryers are running at once, especially in the afternoon. We spend a lot of time folding things or just waiting for the cycles to finish. People from around the colony know where we are. It is not a very big shop but it does what it needs to do. Sometimes the floor gets a bit wet if a pipe leaks or someone spills a bucket, but we just mop it up and keep going. We handle all sorts of stuff like bedsheets, heavy curtains, and regular shirts. There is a small desk where we keep the register and some notebooks to track who brought what. It is a simple setup really. Nothing fancy about it. We just open up in the morning and stay until the last load is done. It is just regular work for us every day here in this corner of the neighborhood.
